An Opening LetterDear Kindred Soul, Welcome to the first thread in our growing tapestry, a place where magic, memory, and mystery entwine. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or just beginning to walk the crooked path, this newsletter is a hearthlight in the dark: a space for insight, inspiration, and sacred connection. Each moon cycle, we’ll bring you spells and stories, teachings from the Tradition, seasonal reflections, and glimpses of the wild and wondrous work we’re weaving together. Expect ritual guidance, upcoming events, featured writings from our members, and perhaps a few whispered secrets from the forest shadows. This is not just a newsletter, hopefully it’s a companion for your journey, a candle held aloft as we walk deeper into the woods. Thank you for walking beside us. The path is richer with you on it. With shadow and star, The White Hart: A Call to PowerThe full moon rises above the midsummer forest, glowing silver through the canopy, and something stirs in the hush. You see it not with your eyes at first, but with the part of you that remembers how to listen: a glint of antler, the breath of something ancient just beyond the veil. The White Hart has stepped across your path. It does not linger. It does not call out. It appears, and that alone is invitation enough. To follow is to begin the deeper journey and ask simply. “Who are you becoming?” In the myths of old, the White Hart appears not to those who seek spectacle, but to those whose souls are ripe for transformation. It is the liminal guide, the silent herald of becoming. The White Hart is not a symbol of fragility, it is power in silence, instinct in motion. To see the Hart is to be chosen for the deeper path. This moon is not here to entertain you. Are you still a beginner… or have you simply been afraid to leave the edge? We cannot remain at the periphery forever. The time of small spells and surface practice has passed. This is a moon of crossing over, into mastery, embodiment, and sacred responsibility. Rite: Following the White HartPurpose: A small ritual to step beyond the edge and claim the deeper path. To shed the self that clings to safety. Tools:
 Steps:
Declare aloud: Chant: “I Follow the Hart”I follow the Hart through shadow and star, Past root and bone to the truth afar I do not hunt, I do not stray, I walk the path, I do not sway. Hoof to moss and horn to flame, The forest speaks my secret name. Let the old self fall apart I follow the Hart, I follow the Hart. Sing it in rhythm. Whisper it into the trees. Let it rise from your soul. Reflections for the Full Moon

This Tradition grows in shadow and light. You are part of its roots. At My FiresideEach issue, I’ll share something that’s stirred my spirit, be it a video, article, book, or quiet moment of wisdom. Come, sit by the fire. Let’s listen together. This moon, I’ve been reflecting on the evolution of Witchcraft and Wicca in this new millennium. As a witch who began her formal practice in the late eighties, I’ve witnessed profound transformations, some truly empowering, others more uncertain. The Craft has grown in visibility, diversity, and depth, yet not without raising important questions about roots, substance, and direction. Mannon from Witch N the Working recently explored this very topic in a thought-provoking YouTube video. He offers insightful commentary that invites us to consider where we’ve come from, whether our foundations are strong, and how we’re shaping our practice from the wisdom we’ve gained. From the Circle: The Moon of Shadows “The Full Moon of October is no gentle light. It is a fire on the threshold, a lantern for the ancestors, a mirror for the witch who walks into shadow.” The Ancestral Moon: Walking the Threshold The October full moon crowns the fields and burns above the darkening wood. It is a moon of endings and beginnings, of fullness and surrender, of memory and of vow. In older times, this was the light that marked the year’s turning, the last full lantern before...
A Word from the Circle The blade falls, the grain bleeds,And the breath of the god is caught in the bread.Lammas is the knife's kiss and the oven's womb,Where death becomes nourishment, and fire makes soul. At Lammas, the first harvest, the Wheel turns toward both gratitude and reckoning. We reap what was planted with intent, and we begin to ask: what of our own growth is now ready to be offered? This is the time of the Sun King who lays down his crown to feed the people. In doing so, he does...
